Ownership

Destination Discourse is a podcast and newsletter personally and jointly owned by Stuart Butler and Adam Stoker. It is not a Brand Revolt or Visit Myrtle Beach property. All content — episodes, transcripts, newsletter issues, website copy, visual identity — belongs to Destination Discourse.

Fair use

Quote us. Link to episodes. Embed clips in your own content. If you're a journalist, academic, or industry peer writing about the show, attribute Destination Discourse and link to the episode you're citing. You don't need our permission for any of that.

Republishing

You may not republish transcripts in full, recut episodes as your own content, or use show audio in paid media without written permission. Ask and we'll probably say yes, with attribution requirements.

Newsletter

Subscribing to the newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link at the bottom of every issue. We will never sell, rent, or share your email.

Guest contributions

Guests who appear on the show consent to their contributions being released as an audio and video episode on all our distribution channels, and as a transcript on this website. We don't paywall guest episodes and we don't edit guests' positions without explicit permission.

Sponsorships

When an episode or newsletter has a sponsor, we say so. Sponsors don't influence the topic, the guest, or the argument. If that changes, we'll tell you.
